Sad news – My friend Jeff Burton died last Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Jeff is James Burton‘s son. He was a great musician and lead singer of the James Burton Band.
Here’s a happy picture of us with Jeff and his wife 2 years ago in the Louisiana Hayride Auditorium. Jeff gave us a guided tour and it was a thrill to hear the history of the building and it’s secrets. Looking back now the importance of the day was spending it with Jeff. We were instant friends and didn’t get enough time. He died from complications of liver disease.
