The first rock and roller after Chuck Berry to play rhythm & lead guitar, write his own songs and singing.
Career was sadly cut short by a horrible car accident just as he was becoming the biggest star in the world.
He never stopped rocking though. Learned to play guitar again and joined Johnny Cash’s band before finally going solo and starring.

His singing is often overlooked as he was a great vocalist, but his guitar work has always ranked highly.
