Roy Orbison Jr at RCA Studio B, Nashville Tennessee.

RCA Studio B is a recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee.

Originally known simply as RCA Studios, it became famous because Roy Orbison invented what became known as the “Nashville Sound” there on the song “Uptown”.

(The Nashville Sound is a sophisticated style characterized by background vocals and strings, it both revived the popularity of country music and helped establish Nashville as an international recording center because of Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison!)
